Description
As a lab technician for our Blue Water Task Force, you would be processing and analyzing weekly water samples collected from local beaches to determine potential contamination.
What Would I Be Doing?
- Processing and analyzing water samples on Saturday mornings using the IDEXX quanti-tray method.
- Reporting test results to the appropriate contacts.
What Skills/Experience Do I Need?
No prior experience is required however, the following skills/experience would be beneficial:
- Experience with following general scientific procedure
- Experience with water quality monitoring and familiarity with IDEXX quanti-tray method of testing a plus
- Scientific background.
What Is The Expected Time Commitment?
6 hours on one weekend per month
