Chapter Volunteer Leaders Needed – Come Join Us!

The San Mateo Chapter of Surfrider Foundation is in need of local volunteer leaders to join and help lead our dedicated team. If you are interested in donating your time to serve in a volunteer leadership position, please let us know. Our current leadership team is transitioning after many years of amazing and dedicated service in leading local community initiatives.

Send us an email at communications@smc.surfrider.org, and let us know about your interest. You’re also welcome to join us for one of our meetings, get to know us, and explore if you would like to work with us on protecting our San Mateo coast, beaches and waves!

Martin’s Beach Picnic & Beach Cleanup Cancelled

With more rain in the forecast this weekend, we must regrettably once again postpone the Martin’s Beach Picnic & Clean Up that was scheduled for this Sunday (3/5). We hope to reschedule some time in the late Spring or early Summer, so stay tuned! Waiting to have a picnic there on a nice day will be worth it!

We appreciate your patience and support for public access to Martin’s Beach. If you have any questions, please contact beachcleanups@smc.surfrider.org.
