Join us at the California State Lands Commission meeting on October 18th in support of acquiring a public access easement to permanently protect access to Martin’s Beach. Carpools or other transportation will be arranged for those who want to attend the meeting in Sacramento. Please sign up to attend the hearing:

Surfrider’s US Supreme Court win means that property owner Vinod Khosla will have to get a permit to block public access; however, the permitting process can be long and drawn out and may be subject to further litigation.

There is one option for definitively and permanently protecting access, which is to acquire a public access easement.

Tell the California State Lands Commission to commit to pursuing a public access easement at Martins Beach! If you’re unable to attend the hearing, please let the California State Lands Commission know that you support this option by sending a letter or submitting comments on their website. You can find the meeting agenda here.

We hope you’ll join us on October 18th!
