About Francis Beach:
Francis Beach is the southernmost beach in Half Moon Bay State Beach. Francis Beach has a nice grassy park with many picnic tables and barbecues on the bluff above the ocean. The Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail passes through the park and offers you a walking and biking opportunity in either direction. Swimming is dangerous here due to strong rip currents and cold ocean water. To get here just head west on Kelly Avenue from downtown Half Moon Bay and turn right after Balboa Boulevard. The parking lot and entrance station are directly ahead.

Address: Kelly Ave and Balboa Blvd, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019, also known as Kelly Beach.

Dogs: There are no dogs allowed on this beach, but dogs are OK on Coastal Trail if leashed. Please be responsible and pick up your dog waste.
