Beach Cleanup at Venice Beach – April 22

San Mateo County Surfrider is hosting a Beach Clean Up
Come join us at Venice Beach on Earth Day – April 22, 2017!

Date: Saturday, April 22, 2017
Time: 10am to 12pm

Parking: There is a fee to park, however, when you get to the parking lot, let the park aide know that you are here for a beach clean-up and the park aide will give you a day pass for free.

Cleanup Areas: The parking lots and the beach.

Supplies: Volunteers will be provided with buckets and reusable gloves while supplies last. Because we are never sure of the weather, make sure to bring extra layers, a hat, sunblock, water, and snacks.

Restrooms: Yes.
Weather: In the event of rain, this event will be cancelled

About Venice Beach:
Venice Beach is the middle beach of five within Half Moon Bay State Beach. The large parking area is at the west end of Venice Boulevard which turns off Highway 1 just north of downtown Half Moon Bay. Several trails drop down to Venice Beach from the parking area.

Dogs: There are no dogs allowed on this beach, but dogs are OK on Coastal Trail if leashed. Please be responsible and pick up your dog waste.
