California Legislature Establishes Fund, Authorizes Funding, for Martins Beach Easement

California's Governor and legislature took action to permanently restore public access to Martins Beach by passing and signing into law legislation that authorizes funding for the state to acquire an easement or right of way to Martins Beach. The Martins Beach subaccount of the Land Bank Fund now exists to accrue funds to use for acquiring an easement to and along Martins Beach, and the State Lands Commission has been authorized to allocate up to $1 million into the subaccount for such purposes.
